Amazon.com Product Description
There's no better way to ruin a camping trip than to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. Enter the Skeeter Beeter Pro hammock, which is not only light enough to appeal to fast-moving adventurers, but also offers shelter from nature's most unsavory critters. Combining all the great features of the original Skeeter Beeter hammock but made with Travel Hammock's super-strong parachute nylon material, the hammock is a must for camping trips near lakes or in damp forests.
The hammock's parachute nylon silk construction is tough and long lasting, with a weight capacity of 400 pounds--150 pounds more than the original Skeeter Beeter. More significantly, the hammock offers an attached no-see-um mosquito net mesh lid with a double-sided zipper for easy in and out. As a result, it's easy to protect yourself from nasty bugs and pesky crawlers while you snooze.
The Skeeter Beeter Pro comes with an easy overhead net suspension system that sets up in a matter of minutes, along with a free hammock hanging system that includes two 10-foot pieces of pre-knotted hanging rope and attached S-hooks. Other details include a mildew-resistant, quick-dry design, two interior pockets for gear storage, and an attached stuff sack for transport. The Skeeter Beeter Pro measures 10.5 by 5 feet, weighs 27 ounces, and carries a 10-year warranty.

Customer Reviews

I was dead set on getting an ENO hammock, until I read the great raving reviews of the lesser named brands here from Amazon.
I also found that once you start outfitting an ENO hammock with things like bug nets they get very pricey. So I found the Skeeter Beeter.
It was a little bit of a stab having not read any reviews on it, but the price was right and the quality seemed to be there.
The hammock is very comfortable, and made of really nice materials (parachute material for the hammock, and almost like a silk for the bug-net...no cheap-o stuff here).
My only complaints are (and I'm not really sure they're complaints, just things I wish I kn ew before buying), the size of this thing is pretty big for 1 person. 400 capacity doesn't give enough of a description, but I'm 6'1" at 185lbs and I get swallowed by this thing. I wish it was about 10% less wide.
The other thing was the bug-net...cool setup, but it does not come off...not possible to remove. There's a zipper which runs about 90% the length of 1 side, but cannot be peeled back and removed. Not a complaint per se, but I wish I knew these things before-hand

For larger individuals like myself who need a higher weight rating than the 250 limits standard on most other hammocks, this is one of the better options available. It is easy to set up, but takes a little practice getting in and out of, and you need to make sure that you never sit on top of the bug netting because it WILL tear. The hammock material stretches under load which can make getting out of the hammock difficult, this is easily fixed by tying in a strong ridgeline to hang on to while getting in and out of the hammock. All in all a comfortable hammock to sleep in, and the bug netting really makes a difference here in the southeast.
The only reasons I am not giving this 5 stars is because:
1. The large amount of stretch in the hammock that makes having a ridgeline necessary to get in and out easily.
2. The first (and only) time I accidentally sat on the bug netting, both ends of the zipper tore out its stitching and ripped part of the bug netting. I was able to patch it temporarily with duct tape, but I am going to have to reattach about 6 inches of both ends of the zipper, and sew up the netting before I can use it again.
